5. The admission range
A total of 150 new students (30 students/class) are to be admitted from all over the country to study in the first grade. Chinese students, foreign students, and the students from Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan are to be mixed and study together. A total of 150 transfer students are to be admitted to study in other grades.
6. The school fees
a) Tuition: Grade 1-2, RMB35400; Grade 3-4, RMB35700; Grade 5-6, RMB37200;
b) Insurance: RMB200;
c) Board: Grade 1-2, RMB5700; Grade 3-4, RMB6100; Grade 5-6, RMB6300;
d) Lodging: Grade 1-2, RMB5300; Grade 3-4, RMB5500; Grade 5-6, RMB5800;
e) School uniform: to be ordered by the parents
f) If a student wants to join an interest group to have some extracurricular activities, he/she needs to apply to the related program and pay another fee.
g) The fee for staying at the school in the holidays: If a student wants to stay at the school at weekend (Saturday and Sunday) or in the holidays, he needs to apply in advance and pay the fee of RMB150/day, or the fee of RMB12000/academic year.
Note: In the future, the above fees are liable to be adjusted in light of the goods price index and the resident consumer goods price index announced by Beijing Municipal Statistics Bureau.
7. Application
1) The applicant is expected to take recent photo (1-cun and without hat) to the admission office of Huijia School, fill in an application form and pay the application fee. The Chinese student is required to pay the application fee of RMB200. The student from Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan, is required to pay the application fee of RMB200, and take “Permit to return to the hometown” and “Taiwan citizen certificate” with him/her when submitting the application, and. The foreign student is required to pay the application fee of RMB830 together with the JW202 Form fee of RMB1245.
2) After submitting the application, the applicant is expected to come to take the interview at the school as scheduled. The school is to send out the admission letters within two weeks. After the parents receive the admission letter, they are expected to take their child to have medical examination in the hospital or the epidemic prevention station at city level as soon as possible; they are also expected to come to the school office of admission as scheduled to pay the school fees and go through the related procedures.
8. Refund policy
If a student withdraws from the school half way through a program, the insurance is not to be refunded; the tuition, lodging and board are to be deducted according to the actual number of months for which the student has studied at the school, less than one month is to be calculated as one month (one academic semester is to be calculated as five months).
